Is it me or has it gone completely dealer listings? I couldn't log into the site for a while. (I lost my account info and when I tried to get them to email it to me they were having tech maintenance or something lame.)

So I was reading the one thread and everyone was saying how hard it is to find SVTs. So I decide to hop onto autotrader and all I get is dealer's cars. I thought maybe you had to join up to see private listings so I finally got my account info sent to me and logged in, only to find more dealer ads! Whats up with that? Am I missing something here? I tried just looking for private sales, but results came up with nothing.

Oh and anyone seen the one SVT trying to be sold for 15 grand!

Indeed, alot of dealer ads, I dont like it.! I see 5 svt's for sale, 3 dealer and 2 private in Ontario, I dont know why you cant see private you should be able to choose which type you want to see, oh well. The $15grand one has been there for a while now, and i suppose for a long time to come lol. Ah well, its all good in the hood, if only those svt's were cheaper.

I remember this since February when I was looking for a 'tour.

"w/ $19,000 in parts this vehicle" something's wrong with her. 14k +taxes+ fees, 19-20 grand...total rip off

Do some searching before you post something like that. That is my old car and I doubt anyone could build the motor that is in it for anything less than $10k (see sig). Only problem is that the dealer that now has it has his head up his ass and blew a sale on it back in July/Aug of last year all because he couldn't get it to pass emissions b/c he kept on taking it to CT to get it done and in the end they caused problems that caused the buyer to walk away. Funny thing is that the #'s it was blowing were cleaner than what I had in Jan of the same year (winter vs summer gas) so it should have been no problem. I even talked to the potential buyer about taking it to where I always had it e-tested (seemed like a genuine enthusiast) but again that option was never explored.
