I did a search for 'acronyms' to see if there was a posting to help newer members understand the lingo here. Maybe I should also search for 'definitions'? If there isn't something already, a Sticky with definitions to the acronyms and abbreviations commonly used in CEG (figured that one out pretty quickly...lol) it would be helpful.

PATS - passive anti theft system
IMRC - intake manifold runner control
EGR - exhaust gas recirculation
IAC - idle air control

those are some common ones

VSS - vehicle speed sensor
TB - throttle body
TOB - throw out bearing
MIL - malfunction indicator light
CEL - check engine light

I agree with the need. I got spanked for not searching (I did search) when I asked what e0 and e1 meant. You can't search on a term that is less than 3 characters.

amazing that you remember that.

Things to learn,
1: Do not make a screenname when drunk. They sound silly later.
2: Do not make screennames that won't make sense after one simple change.
3: There is no North Dakota. It is a conspiracy by Rand McNally to make their roadmaps bigger so they can charge more.
