Buddy and I might be heading to D-town this weekend into the beginning of the week. Probably will stay the course of 3 days or so.

When I moved down here, I wanted explore some of the big cities in TX, like DFW, Austin, and Houston.

Anywho, I was wondering what are some must-do's and must-see's while there? Also, what are the good places to stay at, eat, drink, etc?

There is EVERYTHING in DFW. As far as a place to stay, take your pick. There hundreds if not thousands of hotels. Addison's restaurant row has (I think) more restaurants per square mile than any other place in the country. As far as attractions, I don't know what interests you, but there are clubs, bars, arcades, amusment parks, etc. Depending on what you like, you might like Cowboys in Arlington, or the lower Greenvile area over in Dallas. There's always Six-Flags Over Texas in Arlington, and Speedzone on I-35E in Dallas. Main Event is cool if you want to go bowling, play pool, drink, or arcade games.

Basically, what do you want to see?

You've got clubs in Dallas, entertainment in Arlington and downtown in FW to choose from. Head north for some fancier eats or down south for regular stuff.

Mix and match, some cultural/historical/nature (possibly do some BBQ) sites and bars/clubs at night.

We were thinking of possibly catching a Maverick's game as well.

Both are car nuts and my buddy has been to DFW, and mentioned something about a particular track. I assume he was referring to the "Speedzone." We may have to look into that.

Any particular bars or brewries out there that you guys would recommend?

If you're in FW there is the Covey and the master brewer Jamie is a friend of mine. There is also at least one BJ Brewhouse in the area that also has decent fresh brew and the Rahr Brewery is in Fort Worth as well.
