and yes it does get a lack of respect, just like the contour :laugh: some day I'll own a cookie cutter car where 10 people in my area have the same mods as me but for now this will do. :cool:

as for the projectors, they are infiniti FX projectors...and yeah I'm a little disappointed with how they came out. Does the beam pattern look wierd to anyone else or just me? I'd consider them a work in progress right now as I'm working with a guy to get them working correctly.
 
They dont look straight. The line is not flat which mean that maybe during mounting, the projector may of turned a slight bit. I know FX projectors are decent,

yeah I've seen one of their kits on ebay I think...

there seemed to be a lotta companies out there back in 03-04 when the Ion first came out that jumped into the aftermarket scene. We almost had aftermarket support then I don't know what the hell happened. Makes me jealous of the Contour community at times. :laugh:

lol yeah I also thought they looked a bit rotated and yeah that cutoff is pretty non existant on my car. well its there...just blurry like bad vision...

so much for trying to do it the "right" way huh? next time I'll either buy a car that comes equipped stock or just buy a damn HID kit and be done with it. the main reason I wanted to go with a retrofit was for the beam pattern but hell it really doesn't look any better than HIDs in stock housing.

those pictures piss me off actually considering I've got $800 into this "project" so I'm not going to look at them anymore :)
