What could the the problem be?????

Ok, Ill get those checked. I didnt think it was the timing belt since it ran that morning. They should be looking at it today so hopefully it will be cheap.

Found out the problem and got it fixed. It was the computer and coil pack. both are fixed and is now running fine. Off to start the morrettes and putting a pre98 console in this one.

Hm I kind of ran into the same symptoms tonight. It ran great for the past 3 days, and now it just died out and started again after 15 minutes of sitting. It did the same later and took longer to start but I had it towed home anyway because I knew I wouldn't make it without more problems. It turns over gracefully but will not start and if it does it runs for a short few minutes and then just dies out. Do you know the exact issue with the computer and coil? I'm going to check the codes tomorrow morning as I need sleep. Plus I'm stuck doing this myself since I cannot afford a mechanic, nor do I trust other people touching my car.

Not really sure, What happened to me was I was driving to my parents and after coming off the highway waiting for a green light my car died. It started right up and after a little bit while driving the rpms started to drop and then come back again. The check engine light started to blink. Got home safe and the next morning went to get the computer scanned and came up with the codes mentioned before. After getting home we sat around for awhile and then when my fiance was about to go to work she started the car put it in reverse and then all of a sudden the car died and wouldn't start. But now after replacing those two parts it works fine.
