So I'm going to be refinishing my wheels and polishing them up. I'm debating if I should go another route with the paint on the insides of the spokes. The NE-O's come stock with silver on the inside (close enough to look like Silver Frost) and they will be going on a SF SVT. Any suggestions and/or photochops? The silver will make it look stock-ish while not sticking out too much. I was thinking maybe anthracite but I already have a set of Enkie MM2's in 18's that are anthracite w/ polished lips. Not sure if I want to sets of wheels the same color. Ideas??

I like that polished lip a lot, What you can do is paint the riveted area gloss black to set off the inner wheel and the lip. It will be a real detail job, but I think the results would be worth the effort. Can someone can photoshop that to give him a ideal.

Are you F'ing kidding me? Do NOT ruin those wheels! It's a 19" wheel on a Contour with polished faces and lip. They do NOT look stock in any way! If you want anthracite, stick with you other wheels and sell those to me for the absolute STEAL that you got them for from Aaron.

Thanks for the idea... I think I want to stay away from adding just plan ol black though

Haha quit whining. Besides...he will most likely have dibs on my CF EVO hood when I sell it so think of it as a bargaining agreement between us

In any event I'm not talking about touching the faces I'm talking about the insides of the spokes that is already painted from the factory. I have nothing but tasteful and classy mods done to my car. Anyone that has seen it can testify. Whatever I ultimately decide on doing will look

Yea those Matrix's are pretty sweet. Are the lips triple polished like that from AXIS or do those come chromed? But I don't think you guys know what I'm saying. I'm talking about just the parts with the red lines and where the "rivet screws" are. The machined part will stay machined/polished i.e. the face and lip

Oh well in that case, just refinish the wheels in the same colour they are now and don't add anything to them.

Aaron

leave the wheels the way they are and send me your cf parts :)

haha whats up bud....they will be staying on a bit longer but if/when I sell I might sell everything as one "kick-ass CF special deal" and include everything.

PS...i thought you were from Buffalo?? Did you drive up from Cleveland?

Aaron

dont make me hurt you

In all honesty, i would say just clean em up and leave them the way they are. It has nothing to do with those wheels being the "oh my god they're axis wheels, don't touch them at all" thing. I just think that if you're going to paint them paint the entire wheel, aside from the lip. By just doing the inside i think it might just look tacky.
