What are you paying for parts?

I've got a used SVT disc (and press. plate) that looks pretty good if you get really stuck. I wouldn't use the zetec disc unless I had a brand new one next to a brand new V6 disc that I could measure against each other in detail. If you haven't tried Bill J. yet, I'd recommend you do, he keeps tabs on all of this sort of stuff, and can usually find the CSVT parts that other people can't. When I did my build, he was able to find a lot of parts that other dealers claimed were unavailable. I think Steve at Tousley Ford is the same way, but I've never dealt with him.

btw, I know this is an old thread, but my Liberty built trans is holding up quite well and running great. starjammr, I never responded to your question . . . but my trans was not overly tight at all when I got it back, everything ran just very slick, and still does several years later, though I've only got about 7-8k miles on it in that time. Should be putting a bunch more on it in the next month or so though.

yeah, ordered a disk from team, they didn't have just the disk, and my flywheel is fine...

so, I waited over a week, then got pissed, and searched the classifieds.

payed scooba steve for his take out SVT clutch and presure plate for less than a new disk, I'm happy. it gets here saturday, as well as my seals will be at nappa on saturday, and I prepaid for the synchromax over the phone same time.

now just have to pick up a gallon of synthetic and a filter, and I'll be toodling before next friday.
