what a dead forum

no doubt it doesn't matter if your 40 the way your talking on here you mine as well be a 12 year old, no offense bud. Im 28 but boy do I feel like I act alot older, especially with a wife and kid. anyways like everyone else suggested if you are so dissapointed about this site go visit those other sites.

ok the only thing i said was talking smack on a topez forum. and this site being dead but i guess i use to be on a srt4 forum and marauder forum so a site like this then i can UNDERSTAND! the difference. but i dont understand and dont like most of the links not working. if theres another forum better then svt then let me know. and if iam so wrong for talking smack on a topez forum then i guess im the only guy with stinking crap. ooopps so sorry for saying crap i hope no one is offended. should i send everyone on this forum tee and crumpets

I am actually a fan of any "poo" related words, so saying "crap" to me is actually funny. I take pictures of my own poop and send them to my friends for fun. It's a little sick contest we have going of who can make the biggest or wierdest pile of poo. :laugh:

you're really mature man. Also, if you think Tempo's/Topaz's are boring cars, i just might have to take a trip down to SC to show you mine when i get it done. It'll probably put your SVT to shame.

Also agree w/ most people here. You act like you're 12, not 26.

I drove a Topaz with my wife while were were living at WMU...in 2000. We considered them worthless POS cars 10 years ago. A forum still exists?

The only car I have seen where the cast iron exhaust manifold cracks an inch from the head...complete turd is an understatement. The Escort it was based off of was 10x more car.

2.3 I-4 / 3-sp automatic. 0-60 in 13.3 seconds (G-Tech Pro)! Maybe a turbo with 12 psi could get it down to 11 seconds.

The 1999 I-4 CD4E Contour I test drove did 0-60 in 13.25 seconds. WHOA! Real performance. (I was considering one of the ~3200 I-4 automatic Cougar leases from Ford at $200/month after the program manager brain farted and supposedly got fired for creating a car that didn't meet performance requirements for the new Cougar...kind of an oxymoron?)
 
Uh, i'm building a 2 door Tempo GLS right now with a 2.3, cam, 1.7 rocker arms, ported head, 9lbs flywheel, and weight reduction. Should be good for low 14's or high 13's in the 1/4. Also had a 2.3 HSO 3 speed that ran 0-60 in 10.3 seconds with only intake, exhaust, and A/C delete with 250K on it. The exhaust manifold cracking was mainly on the 87 and older engines with the CFI.


also, your problem with the Contour was the transmission. My car now runs sub 9.5's 0-60. its a 2.0 5 speed.

Dude, I was getting a bit worried the other day cuz it had been "a while" since my last....finally, yesterday I let one out I thought for sure I was going to need a steak knife to cut it up to get it to go down. :laugh:
 
Honestly, due to the new job with the mouse I seldom get a chance to check the forums, but I still sincerely love the group and wouldnt want it any other way.

Besides, most SRT4 owners are whores anyways so a forums with a billion posts about ebay intakes and Viagra sales is right up their ally.

I love CEG, but if you don't then why dont you buy an SRT4? Oh wait... ^_^
 
I personally love this forum.
I am a DIY guy like most others on this forum and They have managed to compile a huge list of common and not so common issues and solutions for this issue.

The forum moderators are also amazing, this site has the greatest uptime, even tho the forum is upgraded several times since 4 years ago they managed to keep all the archives.

The people and the Forum moderators are a reason why I come to this site often, and the search function in this forum is in my opinion better than any other forum because I actually get the answer i'm looking for.
