Vader is all fixed

its alright ryan. they're just hatin'. FWIW, when i blew up my 2.5, many remember that was the exact culprit too. popped off valve and oil everywhere. unfortunately, i just happened to be in high boost at that time:)

:shocked: How? My dad used to get 22-24 in his I-6 Envoy. There's no way that gets cut in half when towing a little Contour. He did have a 4.10 though. That really seemed to help. He still gets about 19 with his 5.3L V8 Envoy (Denali).

As far as Ryan goes, I think that he would take ANYTHING as a reason to do a 3L. Dirty airfilter? Time for a new motor!:laugh:
maybe i should edit that to factor in running about 80+ along with towing the csvt lol but ya avg was 11mpg. with no car though it does decent i think we get closer to like 20 regularly. prob needs some maint. done on it. havent done a thing but oil changes since we got it.

So your telling me after towing a 3,000lb car the trailblazer won't get bad gas mileage? Stop and go traffic will kill that thing? Carrying that weight along with a trailer so your at what 3800 lbs now. Especally with an I-6. those things suck gas down like no tomorrow. I think your confused my friend. i say 140-160 to a full tank.

Uhaul car hauler (not the dolly) weighs 2000lbs. Put a 3100 lb contour on top of that and its a lot of weight. Gas mileage will certainly go to low teens if not close to single digits.
