upper intake porting

just wondering if anyone has done porting to the upper intake on the csvt intake and what kind of results they got. one just turned up in my local yard recently and i was thinking of grabbing intake and checking it out for some extra grunt. by the way mine is a 2000 and mostly stock just starting to toy with it

not worth the trouble.
The SVT UIM is already honed down for just about the max flow thats its going to get. The TB opening and runners arent really big enough to support any more airflow than it will already get.

If the UIM is on it though, you could probably make a couple bucks reselling it if you can get it cheap.

I sent mine out to Extrude Hone about 2 years ago, they were able to open things up quite a bit. Check out Pole120's build thread, I think he has some pics of the Max Honed intake

I have an acid honed SVT upper intake manifold. It opens it up a bit, combine that with some gasket matched porting and you will feel the difference .
