Underdrive pulley info ?

Use a breakover bar and socket and put in position to load against something stout. Whirl starter for just a sec after killing the coil power (you don't want engine to start) and it will come loose by power of engine cranking over. That's on a zetec, I don't know which way the six rotates.

why would the duratec rotate backwards? its not a honda engine :laugh::laugh:

the duratec uses the same trans which only spins one way to make the wheels turn forward, otherwise you would have 5 reverse gears.

I figured it was clockwise, as are most U.S. engines. However I want to be 100% correct when I say something on these forums as you might screw somebody up and cost them money. I've been around long enough to see some pretty strange things, you never want to just jump out there and say you know what you're talking about, there's ALWAYS someone out there that can shoot you down. With no parachute. With your mouth full of foot. Besides that, if wrong, I would have just told someone how to twist the bolt off in 2 pieces one of which now broken off in crank. I'm sure people would be real appreciative of that kind of help..................
