I tired to do that once, didn't go so well. I bassically got told to go screw myself, oh and heres a cupon for $10 off your next service.

I would kick more than thier heads in!! I would be mad to start because they "fixed it" without even telling me what the heck was wrong with it!!! That would be a problem. Tell me what is wrong, so I can tell if they're going to rob me before they fix it. Hope you get some compensation for a trashed car

I have never had a dealer not tell me exactly what the issue was before the car was repaired. Unless things have changed. I was always under the impression that diagnostic was a flat fee. It gets absorbed into the cost of the repair when that is given the go ahead.

thats exactly what they told me....they said that they never went under the hood at all, but the funny thing is when i aske them why the vacume hose off my EGR valve was disconnected he said well i had to check the vacume pressure....idiot, and to top it all off when i dropped the car off they had the b**ls to ask me where the ecu was located....retarded dealer techs

by the way i didnt even get a $10 off:nonono::nonono::nonono:

Bad luck with the dealer sorry to hear that. Shoot they know my dad in the dealer here so if I had a problem with them, my dad would deal with it and they don't like dealing with my dad he is difficult. He has them keep his vehicles inside when they have them over night. Plus I have never had a dealer not tell me what was wrong with my car hell they told me the problem before they worked on it.

Sorry to hear about all that crap chris. But I wont forget the day you called me up saying , "doooooood im gonna buy an SVT." And I said, I wouldn't do it if I were you...

Anyway moral of the story is, any car that you modify will give you problems, so dont blame it on CSVT... not directed towards anyone.

Oh you get the $10 off cupon if you get the BBB and 12 News on your side team on their ass.

And if the car wasn't modified? My stock SE gave me more weird random problems than I can remember it eventually made me scared to drive long distances. When I sold it I vowed to never again have a Ford as my daily driver.

not starting

not starting

we just did major motor work on my 3.0 (shot a plug out of the head and took threads with it) btw how to is being worked up. Now that its together we can get the starter to turn but no power to coil or injectors was just wondering if with your pats prob the motor spun and did not crank or if it didnt spin at all.

svt probs

svt probs

btw contours cougars and mystiques are known for their probs modded or not. the mercury is referred to as the mistake. I understand this and am ok with that but it doesnt change the fact that my wiring harness has turned to shattered glass.

Shhhheeeyat, it's already snowing out there in MI? I thought my moms just told me it was like 50 the other day. To hell with that crap man.

Good luck dude.

why are you asking a troubleshooting question in the pics and vids forum?

if your starter is turning then it isn't a PATs issue! if PATs was engaged it would diable the starter.

check your three large wiring harness connectors on the rear valve cover ...
