trust in radar detectors

another consideration is when you get pulled over for speeding, a cop is much less likely to let you off with a warning when you have a radar detector in plain view...as a matter of fact, some officers have been known to actually look for speeders with detectors...

just a thought...

Speeding Tickets...

Speeding Tickets...

while i dont know about other states except GA and PA, although i imagine they have a similar arraignment since it is a federal exemption, the local cops--city/county--must give you a 10mph "buffer" before they can give you a speeding ticket...thus with a posted limit of 25mph, you would have to be clocked at 36mph or better...the State Patrol is not so restricted

not here in O H - I O(sorry couldn't resist), they have no official buffer. But most departments will give between 5 - 10 before they will ticket you. It also depends on how you were driving. For example, if you are weaving in and out of traffic, etc., they won't give you much of a buffer...

I'm probobly more of a serious speeder. I probobly avg 20 over on all roads.

You need BOTH radar detector and laser blockers on the front and tail of your car to be safe.
