I'm with you on this one. I didn't recommend their exhaust for a while...untill i got warned for it.But what ever...you have to play nice or you won't be able to play at all.
I think any company that cares less about their customes is chitty and should be given notice! But this isn't the first time these type of threads have come about and it won't be the last. When i buy a product i EXPECT the thing to function as it's suppose too. Not have me buy extra parts just to get it to work!:help:

Yeah... me and my brother just buy waste mandrel bends now days. Most of the time we get them for nothing or next to nothing. It is all aluminized pipe, but who cares.
I am actually surprised how most people are intimidated by fabbing exhaust. Even if a person doesnt have a welder, if they lack the skill with a welder, or dont have many tools, it is still pretty easy to do.
At minimum, to do your own exhaust, you need a hacksaw, (a miter box is nice to keep things straight and clean), some U bends, whatever flanges your exhaust will use to join it to other parts, and some straight pipe.
First thing, start mocking in where your straight pipes go, then determine what bends you need. Take your U-bends and measure how much of the radius of the bend you need, then cut off an appropriate amount. If you are creating a compound bend that changes direction in the middle of a bend, or bends in multiple directions, you just cut several bends.
Now for those of you with a welder, even if you lack the skill to weld it together, you can tack welds in to keep your pipes straight. If you know what you are doing, finish welding the whole circumference of the pipe where you are joining the pipes
Those of you without a welder. Take some blue painters tape and tape the edges of the pipe where you want to join them. Then line up your pipes the way you want them joined and make reference marks for alignment. 2 marks spaced an inch apart will work perfectly. Then number each joint, so that you know what order the pipes go together later. When you are done, take it to a welding shop and have it all welded together. Dont forget to mark hanger locations so you can weld on hangers as well.
IDK why I just did a how-to. Maybe I should have made a thread for that how-to..... I guess when I get around to doing the exhaust for my escort, I will take pictures and do a how-to thread.
