trubendz? had to remove heatshield?? what now?

ok so to get my trubendz exhaust to fit properly i had to remove the heat shield. now my ebrake and center console feel like they are on fire which i know is becuase of removing the heat shield. Now is there anything i could do to cut down on the heat. Would header wrap work? or modifying the heat shield??

Put the heatshield back on. I didnt have to do anything with mine....

you may have to bend the heatshield but no remove it. same thing happened when i optimized my y pipe. however i welded the heatshield back on.

Yeah I had to bend the heatshield also, seems like a must on the system....

i could push it up but then it touched and would rattle so i took it off guess its going back on sunday

mine was bent and it doesn't rattle too much, if any, maybe try and find something to wedge in there if you get some rattle

you just beat it with a mallet, my mech heated it with a torch then bent it back.

just take it off and beat it flat. when you go to put it back on the bolts will pull it against the hump. or you also could just beat it around the hump maybe a little more space if you do it that way.
