Transmission

I'm looking for an used transmission to put in my automatic 2.OL 98 contour, does it have to have the same numbers that's on the bottom of my transmission (f8ep-da) or can I get a transmission from any 2.0L Auto Contour or mystique

i started a thread with the info you need. but you need a F83P-DA or a F83P-DB. bye the way good luck finding a low mileage used transmission that's priced decent.
