Tranny hicup

I've been having a strange problem with my tranny. Between 40 and 55 mph the tranny has what I can best describe as a hicup. If I'm driving down a flat road at a constant speed everything is fine. But if I give it just a little gas (like on a small upgrade) it will buck a little. If I accelerate a little more, it goes away. My tach does not jump and if I drove the car like an old lady I probably would never even notice the problem. Is this the sign of a tranny going bad or could it just be a sensor? Thanks for your help.

What is the color of the tranny fluid? When was the last time you changed it (in terms of miles)? It could be dirty or low fluid.

Did you recently drive through a big puddle of water? or went through a car wash? It could be the Manual Lever Position Sensor.

I changed the MLPS last year because I was having a problem. But the symptoms were different. Could it have gone bad that quick? Also, I changed the fluid at the same time (4 time run through)

Sounds more like a low-grade misfire than a tranny-induced symptom.

I'd be looking at your MISFIRECNT PIDs for any abnormality.
