Hi I have a 1999 CSVT Tranny worked fine when I bought itand was told it had a new clutch put in 4months ago. I have had it stored for a year in my garage to do some work on it. When it was time to bring it out tranny did'nt feel right, when you start off it feels sluggish like something is holding it back but once you get going it seems fine. The pedel also feels soft not much pressure to push the clutch in. There is also propane smell after I drive it. Thought it might be bad gas but I have drained all the gas and added new. If anyone can help me out on this one it would be greatly appreciatted.

bleed the clutch and also check that the secondaries are working correctly. might be two seperate things going on.

What BrApple said, and, was the parking brake set while in storage? The PB's on these cars tend to freeze, that might explain the sluggish feeling.

I was just going to suggest that.

I had some speakers installed at Best Buy the other day and when there put my car outside, they yanked up my E-brake in below zero weather. I even told them not to do it. I only live about 2 miles away so I attempted to drive it home. By the time I got home, the brake had relesed but the caliper was RED HOT.

I should have had them put the car back in the bay for the night and picked it up in the morning. :nonono:

So when you driving down the road and you push in the clutch, does the car slow down faster than normal?
