Very true. His cars are very modified. The video is of a commercail for the new wrx. For the sti and wrx commercials they use bone stock vehicles. I cannot comment on wether or not the alignment was altered at all. It does make a big difference when trying to do such manuvers as the ones typically in his videos.
He probably has wide angle knuckles among a ridiculous list of other things, I'm hoping to get to chat with his mechanic or someone so maybe we can find out exactly.
I'm sure that car was bone stock for the commercial... I wonder how many takes that thing took? Someone on the Subie boards commented that the front bumper is scuffed up pretty well at the end.
E-brake + Pushing Clutch in at the same time should yield the same results with a good driver.. hell, if I am willing to try it in my car though. I baby the chit outta my WRX.
I would however donate my car to Ken Block to drive the piss outta as long as I got to sit in the passengers seat and have the entire thing filmed.
Honestly, I don't think a Subaru is complete without some damage showing the fun it's been through. It's kind of like putting 36" mud tires on a truck and never going off road.
Finally had a chance to watch this vid....They would be cleaning feces and vomit out from every nook and cranny in that car if I had been in it...Kinda like when Travis took Bam Margera out in the baja truck.
