After a few hours the motor was ready to be pulled, we went from the top since we had the clearance and didnt want to risk busting the subframe bolts. *sigh.. Jeff*

I wish I would have gotten some pics of the inside of the old trans, that thing was MESSED up, 3rd gear shift fork was messed up, bearings were just falling out, but on the plus side, the diff was in really good shape. I only got a couple of pics as we were busy most of the time working on taking stuff apart/putting it together, plus I didnt want my dirty mitts all over my cell phone. Motor came out and went back in with very minor heart ach, I really dont think it could have been easier, especially when Gus showed up.
Thanks to everybody who showed up today, and thanks to mike for the kick ass BBQ, some great ribs and brats :drool: let all of us know if you ever need anything again. I had a good time doing this today, being my first engine/trans pull I learned a lot about doing this work.
Edit: added bonus... Reebs changing my alternator. w00t! Thanks again for that
