To the Nautilus guys....

Is it mean of me to think that you need to know how to work on your own car before installing any kind of F/I? What if you have an issue? You going to take it to a dealer? LMAO! How long do aftermarket shops stay in business usually? I'll never understand ppl.
That's what always stops me from getting into big projects. People with FI talk about having oil problems, and heavily modded engines get knocks and everything you could ever run into.

I'd be broke in no time, paying people to fix stuff for me. How do people learn to do this :)

When I first bought my SVT and started actually getting into cars, I couldn't even change things like my oil, plugs, wires, ect. The only way to learn this stuff is to actually do it. I've come a pretty long way from taking my car to stazis every weekend to get stuff done.

Moral: Get out there and try it yourself! Oh and a second car helps.

damn... that ain't true.. I've broken a TON OF STUFF, and I only know a half-ton of stuff.

Must mean I didn't learn from half of my mistakes, huh?

:)

Yea no kidding. I was the same way, when i first got the contour i didnt know how do to anything, change the oil, plugs, fuel filter etc.

Now im pretty confident i can do almost anything with the contour given enough cash. Today is my 6th time doing headers on a contour (lord help me) And having nitrous got me VERY used to changing the plugs all the time.

Its nice to know you can work on a car without worrying about whats going to go wrong.
