Tint

I always wanted to get tint, but I know if I do and its of legal %, ill get crap from it at the dealership where i get it inspected. I only go there b/c its free.

I believe the legal tint is 35% on all windows except the windshield in NH.

One of the many things on my list of to-dos.

It is actually 35% on the windows behind the B-pillar. No tint is allowed on the front 3.

I have 35% on my fronts and rears, and no front plate for about 2 years. Ive never had a problem, Thanks to my brother who is practly married to the Lt. daughter. It also helps that you know most of the cops.

mine had 35 all around and they failed me when they tested it at 32-33 due to stock solar tint. so i stripped it got the ticket written off and redid the tint 20 in rear and 35 in front and shave the front plate. never had an issue and its been a few years. i avoid every stop check i see. thats how they got me the first time. so even if u get the legal 35, u might still fail due to the solar tint. some states dont test with the solar tint included, ct does ;( i actually wish i had done the front 20 too.

if u have a dark interior do 35 all around. if u have a tan/light interior do 20 all around (what i shouldve done. if your squeamish, 35 front 20 rear.

for the CT people this was on my tint receipt

Conn, Statue 14-99g: total light transmission of not less than thirty-five percent plus or minus three percent and s luminous reflectance of twenty-seven percent plus or minus three percent.

hmouta!
omg hi2u! :D
haha. i've been around kim. just been avoiding the forums so i dont get new ideas or new stuff that might force me to spend money.

i have the koni sport kit to install and maybe new wheels next year. been doing maintenance to track down my low idle issue. i think it could be my battery wiring from when i did the yellowtop install. the wiring going into the dist blocks sorta blew up during a rainy nite. i cleaned it up a bit but maybe the wiring internally isnt good. i've been on here occasionally looking for parts cars that can sell all the stock wiring. hope it solves the problem. other than that, the svt is still going strong.

hey hmouta are you going to use a camber kit with the koni kit. Im trying to figure it out if i should or shouldnt. I did a search about it and some say to do it and some say not to.
