Anyone have expirence with that turbo? I know joey has a 60-1 not sure what brand it is. Or if the brand even really makes that big of a diff?

T3 or T4? There is a big difference between a T3 60-1 and a T4 60-1

Turbonetics is a good company. I've have used them before.

i have one right now. havent installed it yet but the are two types. a 60-1 and a 60-1 hi-fi. mine is a .63 A/R syage 5 housing, the hi fi i believe is a bigger inlet correct me if im wrong its been a while since i bought mine.

I believe the HiFi is a TO4B so it's smaller. Also, I'm almost positive a .63 is a T3 size housing. The T4 is .68 or .70 I can't remember which.

Yes they usually come in .63 AR but I had a stage 5 wheel installed with a .82 AR on the HI-Fi which is the best of all worlds on the 3 liter motor it was costy though close to $900 for the turbo due to the porting and machining. But will support over 500whp with ease

the HiFi use a To4b housing bored out to fit the 60-1 components. It behaves just like a 60-1 compressor side but in a more compact package. It also comes with the .63 T3 exhaust turbine side.
Thats what makes such a good turbo and quite a bit pricey.

The T4 series 60-1 are way too big for our cars so pretty much only the hybrid turbos with a 60-1 compressor will work.
THe HiFi with a .63 is an excellent choice for a 500wHP contour.....but it costs.
