The official who's going thread

So you're saying SZ for you hinges on the dyno? Thats the only event yet to be confirmed.

Last I heard, there was still a possible issue of the show n shine being moved to friday and that things weren't completely hammered out yet.......and yes, I would like a set schedule for the entire event. Nobody wants to drive from different states to be involved in a clusterf*@k. Maybe if everything is 100% confirmed, then you should put up an "official" update on the SZ09 stickied thread, as I know I'm not the only one with this view.

oh man, if it turns out to be fri, I will have to change all my plans :(

i've only been to two SZ's, but both were clusterF#$KS

And what was wrong with SZ '07? I kind of planned the entire event myself was one of the most attended. Or are you just being your normal dbag self? F'n A there are a lot of fugg sticks in the thread/forum. You'd think the cars were new not 10-12 years old! It's an excuse for forum users to meet in person and have fun. We could care less about the cars! If you're going to be a grade A dbag and complain about something you had no part planning then stay the F away. I like how ppl beotch but still come back!

ROFL!! Amen brotha.

i wasnt being entirely serious at all todd. actually i was totally joking.

in all seriousness though, guys. the only complaint i had both years was lack of direction.

now directions were provided to everyone to each event from the hotel but it would have been cool to have someone completely take charge (a local) and say a time that everyone should depart so people that are not from the area don't have to stress out about finding the events.

this was attempted in 07 but it didnt end up very well. i found everything myself, with CSVT49 and it wasnt much fun.

last year there was no direction at all and it sucked! i had to call everyone i knew from the area and get a clue how to find everything. the only thing i found easily was the dyno and that was because i followed brett there. i know us out of towners can be kind of a drag for the guys that are local because they don't wanna come to the hotel, get us all together, wait for the slow guys, and roll out together. i understand, but at least one guy could do that. hell i'd be willing to give ya gas money lol

Eh, don't take it personally, Todd is just old.

If you don't already own a GPS, I suggest you include $100 or so in your SZ Vacation Budget and buy one. It is one of the best investments I have ever made, and came in handy with the aforementioned lack of direction.
