The "OFFICIAL" 2009 Fall Dragon Run Thread!

2 more than last year and these are "for sures", well, unless my buddy doesn't get his Saab back but then again he does have a rental 9-3, maybe he'll just use that which would be perfect...kinda:shrug:

depending on how everything works out this week, i may be getting rid of the SVT for a "new" ride. lets just say, if i do, 300HP, AWD, AWS, active aero, and ECS, will be nothing short of amazing on the Dragon.

if not, i will still have the SVT.

I guess it wasn't that wild. Those options pretty much describe it to a T. Only reason I know is because my dad shopped those in '94, ended up getting a TT 300ZX instead. Nice car, though I'm not a huge fan of the big round spoiler (like the GST or GSX). I do like the more angular spoiler though, I think that one was the active aero version.

BTW not long ago I tried to upload my in car videos to pump everyone up, they are too big without splitting them up (as in 1 run would be 2 or 3 videos). I'll try again later for you guys.

Any pics of the car Dan:confused:
there are no guarantees that ill be able to get it just yet. i should know by the weekend though, and even if i cant i will get you guys some pics of it.

and Chris, its a 93 so its still got all the awsome gadgets, like the active aero, ECS, and the tunable exhaust. however, that also means its only got the 5-speed instead of the 6-speed manual.

I'm hoping to be able to go, I talked to my boss this morning and he said I should be able to get those three days off. Everyone cross your fingers!!!! lol

Hopefully you'll be able to get a cabin with us or maybe the couples with let you room with them, what do you guys think:shrug:

28 days to go!

I posted over in the other forum but I'm excited to let you guys know that one of the guys from xceedspeed took Chris' cabin and is all set, now we just need to wait for him to join CEG and post over here to get to know everyone and maybe a pic of what he's driving, he's got 4 cars to chose from:cool: I feel very good about the other guy with the 09' Ralliart too!

Great, now my attendance is coming into question.

Some political BS at work may be interfering with my employment, and the new contract is set to go into effect October 1st. I'm not sure what will happen then.

That said, I'm not cancelling my cabin yet. Maybe I'll end up coming down later, I'm not sure. Even if I have to come down first thing Saturday. By the way - about how long of a drive is it from Metro Detroit, Roger?

I'll figure something out; I've been looking forward to this trip for months, and this will end up being my only vacation this year, so I need to do something.

I really hope all is well and everything works out for you man.

Also Bonnie as I said I am sure you can stay with us in the cabin. We will make room one way or another.

yup, ill be bringing my air mattress for anyone that needs it, and we can always borrow a cot if need be.

JC, the trip is about 11 hrs with 2 stops for breakfast and lunch/gas and that's going about 75 mph the entire trip and there's NO advantage to going much faster than that, so don't worry about it. Please keep us posted on your cabin because we may need it, more than likely its not going to go to waste, but we want you to make it with us real bad JC!

Trey and Dan, nice lookin' out on the cabins, its all about team work and making things happen for people...and cheaper for all doesn't hurt either:cool:

BTW, I just drove our Exige 240S cross town and back today....does anyone have a ".38 special" and ski mask I could borrow:laugh::laugh::laugh: My God does that thing pull and make you feel like superman behind the wheel, I can only imagine how it turns and brakes:drool::drool::drool:

The night run this year

The night run this year

Hectour and I talked about this about a week ago and thought Friday night would be the best day for this, what does everyone else think:shrug: I really have to do this, if for nothing else, to say I did it. I really wanna do this and then hangout by the wall and BS in the dark, just to take everything in the night has to offer, the fresh air, the stars, the bears....oh wait, did I say that:laugh:

AARON WARD NUMBER OF DAYS TO GO!
