Ha, sorry the thread isn't what you prob thought it was going to be....but anywase i was just wondering....is thier anyone on here that has owned, or knows the where'abouts of the very first comercial built 98 contour svt?

I read on craigslist looking for svt's that number 6 iirc was totaled last winter by the owners son. ill look for a link. it was in michigan craigslist i remember that much. they were selling the stock wheels from the car.

I think it was a few years ago now but yes the car was in an accident and totaled.

Is it the same story with build # 1 from 99 and 00 too? All these "famous" low numbers are 98's. where are the low 99's and 00's? less remarkable but still would be cool to own a #1

Well, it almost ended up in MA . I have no idea who it sold to, though. However, it was being sold out of Michigan, I do know that much.
