SVTC is going under the knife tonight.

another update... Got the new electric in the garage.. New compressor will be here saturday. Wife and 1 year old are going to beach this coming week so i will be able to get off work and put full attension to the svt. Looking to have it in primer next friday and final paint sometime that next weekend. Will be unvailing the color and car saturday july 10th in the AM at cougarfest show and shine on city island. then will post pics for all that cant make it.
 
Finally started spraying primer. Bought a good Sharpe Mfg. hvlp gun but its not here yet so borrowed a gun It was a dud...dirty as all get out after cleaning it sprayed horribly so gave up after spraying primer on mirrors sideskirts and headlight eyebrows.
Heres some pics of the progress. Hoping to get her all finished up by saturday for cougarfest but not looking good.

Oh and sideskirts look great. I didnt worry too much about shaving the jackpoint covers where they will not be seen unless on a lift since it simply wont be seen.

Also these are the wheels im picking up next weekend. Is gonna look great. Thanks to parkedcar for the 18s.

No. the car is getting sprayed in the garage...just pulled it ouside to clean up good and set up plastic and such. Tried to spray again last night but still no luck with gettin the new gun(slow shipping) bought a cheapy to spray primer but the primer was too thick and didnt have any reducer. So tonight is round three, got reduce and cant think of anymore snags to get in the way. athough im sure there will be something. looking like it will roll out of the shop with fresh paint and the wheels at the same time. I really think that everyone is going to be stoked about my color choice and the car is gonna look sick.
 
got the first shot of primer on. Tonights plans are to scuff and wet sand where needed and get the second shot of primer on. Its nice to see her in one solid color.

looking great so far. Since there really arent any other car shows anytime soon, are you just going to post up pics when its done or are you going to make us wait?
