svt hitch

i see alot of hitch places that have them for contours but havent seen much for svt's since bumper sits lower, anyone know brands or have pics of how it fits, thanks

Also do normal contour v6 hitchs work with the dual svt exhaust, i can deal with the hitc goin throuh the mesh since its missin already

I am 99% sure you won't be able to find a used SVT specific hitch and no one makes them anymore. The standard contour hitch will not have problems with the SVT dual exhaust. Some standard contour hitches will be through the rear mesh area and some are actually higher up which means you would have to put a sqaure hole in your bumper to use it. The ones that are too high compared to the mesh can be lowered with washers or flat plates to get the reciever in the mesh area. You will need to cut a hole in the frame rail big enough for the bolt/washer to go into and pulled into the correct area to drop out and through the frame rail. It's not fun, but try to have fun

initial owner of my SVT put a damn trailer hitch on right through the mesh. I finally got around to taking it off a couple of months ago (it took 3 guys hanging off of a big adjustable wrench to break the rust...)
