WOW that seems a BIT high $$. I grew up in Upstate NY and I know prices are NoT that inflated. I picked up my 98 E1 with 75K for $3900 up here in ALASKA!!

You'd be surprised at the inflated prices in the Northeast. However, it will still be a tough sell.

Are these cars really not selling well? A few years back they were holding a decent value. Obviously they are older and will continue to depreciate but they are certainly harder to find with lower miles.

yeah they don't hold much value unless you find one with supper low miles and in above average condition

the only difference is that ElKy's will carry a salvage/rebuilt title so it is inherently worth less. (right?)
Seriously had I known you'd be selling it that cheap I might not have bought mine. Black/tan is my second favorite color combo.

no salvage title..the title is clean.
it just needs some suspension work.

nvm then .. you should be able to sell it for more than 5K around here IMO .. or at least advertise and then get it haggled down to 5K ..

half the reason I bought a car in Cali was because I couldn't find decent ones around here for that price ...
