SVT Contour R??

Looks good on the COBRA R or a Mustang BECAUSE the lines on the Mustang are sharp edged! The Contour doesnt HAVE ONE SINGLE SPOT that is SHARP! Everything is rounded or curved! I dont think it will look good! But it will def be a great project and I would love to see pictures!!!

Buy a Cobra R replica bumper and cut horizontally across and PLEASE USE A REGULAR CONTOUR FRONT BUMPER (dont mess up a SVT bumper cause we need them)!

Buy a Cobra R Replica hood and cut/glass it into a contour hood!

PLEASE CHOOSE ANOTHER SPOILER!!! I dont think there is one spoiler that looks good on Contours!

GOOD LUCK!

My plan is deffinitly to chop it down vertically and depending on how it sits possibly take a few inches out of its width as well. The wing being way ricey is a worry of mine, I wasnt too huge on the 2k Cobra R for that when it came out but it grew on me

Fwiw, the Cobra R wing height was very carefully determined in order to get the wing surface out into the free stream of air coming over the roof, so it could provide the best performance for download/drag instead of being caught in the turbulent air tumbling down the rear glass. Appearance was a distant second to performance when it was designed.

That Silver car looks good! Get that bumper and hood....paint it all, and hood, Ford Racing Red. Keep the big a*s cans of the exhaust and don't shop for your aftermarket parts at freakin pepboys and autozone....you know, nothing little that glows, spins, makes little twirly noises......and build a car YOU can be proud of. "Ricey" kills me!! "Ricey", to me, is stuff from China, Japan, etc. I mean, let's be real for the sake of being real.... Civics didn't come with big a*s wings factory.... Give me anything... ANYTHING made by them and its Ricey... Even factory crotch rockets are rice.... Right?

Thanks for the advice, I see your point on the Wing with the sharp edges. Ill keed all that in mind.

I know people that would break your knees if they found out you chopped up a REAL R wing. The REAL ones aren't cheap either.

with the aerodynamic profile of a contour a real cobra R wing is probably just about the right height. I have a wings west touring wing on my car and it is just slightly to low. You either have to have it higher than my wings west wing for downforce or a factory style spoiler if you are looking to reduce drag.

That bumper back on page one... at first I was like :censored:. But then I looked at it for a while and I was like .
It has a pretty good look honestly, I could probably go for one of those over my AAS front.

So I was thinking of making my 99 CSVT resemble a 2000 Cobra R. Was thinking of using a front splitter like this, using Harry's pic, hope you dont mind
