Just wondering if there could be a sign up listing of all the csvt's out there that are on this site. Just to see where they all are. I don't own one but I would like to know where they are and how many are known about. Maybe there is already something like this but if not it might be nice to have. Something like this;

1998 1999 2000
# town, state #, town, state #, town, state

There could be different categories for the years and then list the numbers (in order) and then town and state where the car is.

Just a thought.:crazy:

It should be easier to find then. Make it more announced. I bet there are some people on her that haven't even registered. There looks to be under 1000 csvt's on there that is a small percentage compared to 12000.

well maybe some don't want to add their information .... and the number of SVTs the I have seen on ebay has been pretty high and most of them have never heard of ceg ....

I was just wishing that we could have a way of tracking them down. I know we couldn't have all of them on there but alot more would be nice. Even if it has been parted out and junked. It should still be registered on there.

I do have about 40 submissions to go through and enter. You'll also notice that there are some "errors" with duplicate production numbers showing different dates. I'm always looking for people to update/clarify the information. This information is only as good as the submissions I get, so if you do submit, PLEASE verify your info and triple-check it before pressing the submit button.

Eventually I'd like to incorporate a list of totaled VINs as well. Toadster had a small bit of that info when he handed the registry over to me, but it's terribly outdated now.

I did notice that too. It would be a lot to keep up with. If someone sells a svt they would have to remember to take their name off the lists.

I don't believe I ever submitted my old SVT info to Hetfield. Maybe svt2sho will go ahead and do it. I believe it was one number off of Alex the Mexican's old SVT. Somewhere in the last 75 SVT's built, obviously in 2000.

Mine is one of the 40 :) There's a totaled CVST at a junkyard not far from me. I'll see if I can cruise over and get the VIN

There's another SVT registry website out there that's not Contour (or CEG) specific. I'm pretty sure that it's linked in the Newb's Read Me First sticky.

Which one is it? Any bumpers on it? Or side skirts?

Ernie's off of Route 11 just outside the city limits of Martinsburg. It's a black one. No bumper, rims, exhaust, interior seating, top half engine parts, nothing really. However, the dash and carpets are decent and some of the switchgear. The body panels are mint albeit a little dirty. Hood has a small dent on the driver side edge but very repairable. Tail Lamps are intact and in great condition. Some of the sensors under the hood may be salvagable. What I took out of it was the center console, third brake light circuit board, door sill trim, and the power antenna motor. Passenger side airbag was deployed, probably the drivers side as well, but the wheel is gone. Basically all the SVT specific parts are gone except what's left of the midnight blue items I described above. Hope this helps! If you go, snag the VIN and post as I thought I would have time to get out there again this weekend, but have a car to detail.
