Suggestions on painting rear reflector

I have my rear reflector smoked out and the chrome trim piece is still the factory chrome...or plastic chrome. Dupli color now makes something called shadow which is black chrome paint. How do you guys think that would look if it were painted black chrome?

I think black chrome on black would look great. Keeps it subtle and not all one color.

I don't think it would look too hot. I don't know, It just seems like it would be out of place. If you painted the reflector body color then did the chrome strip in black chrome, now that would be cool.

I think it only looks good on chrome pieces, but thats just my opinion...try it!
