Got nailed today in the M5. Came out from the store to the back of the lot (I don't want door dings) and there is a huge 9 inch crease it seems with a large dent in the passenger door.

man that would suck. At the back of the lot to. Maybe you should find different parking lots to park in...like the empty ones.

That was a one in a million shot! I tried from the other side of the parking lot :D

Pics? Creases can be a PITA to fix right as sometimes they can "tin can" and pop in and out easily. A little metal shrinking/stretching can solve that, but it can be tricky. Insurance?

That sucks! Same thing happened to my CSVT a couple years ago. It hit my rear passenger side door... 3 small dents which chipped the paint off. I was soo pissed.

just wondering if the stores are at all responsible for that kinda stuff? when I worked for compusa a long time ago we were responsible for our carts in the parking lot.

Maybe that's why CompUSA went bankrupt

I'm actually not sure... I do know that many places around here have cart problems. Part of the problem is that the stores are too stupid/cheap to have enough cart return cages. The other part is the lazy people that don't want to walk up to 10' to return their cart (if the previous problem isn't an issue).

It's walmart...of course there were no carts present when I came out...so no go there. I filed a claim, but honestly I don't know how much it'd cost to fix...I won't know until the weekend.
