ugh no! I don't want my birthday on the coldest, darkest month of the year.
May/June is best. Everything comes back to life, longer days, warm but not hot, not humid.

No, the Taurus. You might remember it. It was the bestselling car in America for a litany of years, winning damn near every award they gave.
Yeah, I know. I just wanted to bring up the stupidity of changing the name of the car.
You're likely familar with most / all of this, but I'll agglutinate it here for the record.
It should be some consolation that a) not only is the name game done, but b) an entirely new Taurus that echoes the spirit of the original should show up sometime around 2010. Also, c) the current iteration is a big improvement over the already solid FiveHundred -- tighter suspension, lots more grunt -- that big guy hustles to sixty in 6.8 seconds.
I didn't like the name switcheroo either -- Taurus should never have dissappeared. It also should never have been neglected. Brand recognition and loyalty are among a company's biggest assets. There were some pretty boneheaded decisions made at FoMoCo from the late Nineties to the early part of this decade. Things are on the mend, though.
