My system:
Dual brand deck
Kenwood KAC-8452 4 channel amp powering:
Infinity 682.7cf 5x7s in front
Infinity Reference 1050W 10" sub (currently blown, waiting for replacement)

I've found that occasionally when I hit a bump or drive on a bumpy road, I'll get a static sound from my speakers. This happens no matter the volume on my HU, and it varies. Sometimes it's super sensitive to bumps, sometimes it doesn't happen at all.
I've checked my amp ground, and I know it's good. What else should I look for?

Ya know what I've just been getting to notice that too. It makes like a crackling noise or I guess it is kinda staticy but it makes me mad. I really would like a answer to this question too because occasionally it sounds like crap. It only does it on certain days too like you said yesterday just happening to be one of those days. Please help

I get this too, but mine varies as to what speakers. I still have all stock stereo equipment too. My guess is its the speaker wiring, but mine will sometimes do it even without a bump.

i think i have somewhat of an answer for you...

since you have a 4 channel amp and the static is coming out of your speakers at any volume even when the head unit shows 0 volume... i think that the 4 channel gain is turned to high. I have definitely experienced this before and if you have the gain too high on the 4 channel then the static will come out of the speakers. try to lower the gain and see what happens!

I'll try that and see, but I've had the system since August and I haven't touched the amp settings since then, and it's only started doing this recently. Once I give it a shot I'll get back here with my results.

I'm not exactly sure that is the problem being that I don't have a 4-channel amp in my car I just have a CD player and 4 pioneer speakers. What about you SVTC1136? I also think it might be the stock speaker wiring that was used.

I just have the original cd player with amp behind the glove box and stock speakers.
My plan to solve the problem is to replace everything, speakers wires and head unit. Now that I know other have this problem I will do the speakers and wiring first then get a new HU. I was worried that if the problem was with the HU then it could damage my new speakers, so I was planning to do the whole thing in one go.

Well my passenger front speaker started cutting out completely so I pulled the door panel and found that the connection from the (included) crossover to the speaker was loose. IDK if that would cause static coming from all of the speakers, but since I've gotten that fixed I haven't heard the static sound. Hopefully it's done.
