ST24 goes 3.0L

:nonono:

im sick of all these guys paying out their a$$ for these manifolds. they aren't that hard to come by over there, they should be cheaper. i'm not paying 600-700$ for a 3hp gain, if that.

quick question...how did you get a 1,2,3hp gain

Or are you just hating on the manifold because you can't afford one?

The engine is nearly up and ready for final painting and install next week. Today I received my uppers / TB and TB bracket back and I also collected my car colour coded engine cover. Just need to get some stainless bolts to make everything as I want it and then fit to the block.

Hope you like !

The pics don't quite show off the shine but its the best I can do in the dark. I'll get some better pics in natural daylight tomorrow.

until then, give it up dude.

The engine is almost ready to go back in, just needs the new oil filter fitted and some work to the headers. I'm surprised at how poor the MSDS ceramic coating is, it flakes very easily.
Also need to clean up the starter motor and its done.

The aircon has been removed as I never use it and I hated the powerloss when switched on

The engine is all fitted and after some modifications to the rear cam cover, the engine is all up and running. We initially had issues with the loom, as we used the ST200 loom because the unichip was hardwired into it, but it turns out the ST24 and 200 looms are quite different.
So all thats left is the wire in the unichip to the ST24 loom and then get the car MOT'ed so I can get some it up to the local tuners for a Rolling road and chip setup.

Fingers crossed it all goes well from here on

Heres a poor quality camera phone pic:

Unfortunately I've had to use the ST200 coil pack and leads temporarily until I can sort out a new connector for the 3.0l coil, but it will do until then. obviously the engine needs a thorough clean, polish and the engine cover fitted, but so far so good.

So your personality is measured by your wallet? Interesting. Most insecure people look at life in that sense.Your just soo full of hate. I don't flame you...i just point out your hatred for others:nonono:

As always trek your car looks great! That UIM looks huge under that hood. but seeing that engine in there makes me
Great work...def post some videos of it running and possibly of you driving it :)
