yeah i saved this car from its ricer fate 3 years ago iv had alot of problems with it
when i got the car it had been autocrossed
in the process both the engine and trans were screwed then the car had sat for two years before i bought it
ive had alot going on including losing my mom during this process of trying to get this car runnin
so those of you that are flaming me i pray you dont lose someone you love while trying to build your dream
it just shows how immature and thoughtless some people can be
 
oh and by the way loco copied wheels from different companies and yes it was racing hart they coppied these from thats what my research has concluded in sport compact car there is a miata with these and they are racing harts its an older issue ill get the number for you the miata is red with the fiberglass hardtop

If you can't handle the fact that the car is in poor shape and people will comment as such, don't ask to have pictures posted here. I'm very sorry for your loss, but it doesn't change the fact that the car needs a lot of help. When you are able to get your life back in order and spend time fixing the car you are welcome to post up progress pictures.
 
Im sorry for your loss as well but the fact is that not everyone is going to like something, that car is in poor shape and I'm not trying to be mean when I say that. It needs alot of TLC and ob1 can give it that. Good luck with the car!
 
I've lost my father and all but one grandparent, as well as many others (21 males alone in my family have passed since I've been born... all cancer but one... that one was an MVA).. so does that mean that everyone has to love my car, too?

I'm truly sorry for your loss, and nothing anyone says here will ever bring your mom back... but it has nothing to do with this car or its physical state. It is what it is.. love your mom for who she was, who she is and who she will make you in to as you grow/mature... don't lump her and her wonderful memory in to a stupid car. In the end, its IS just a car.. and your mom deserves much more than to even be mentioned as an excuse for a vehicles appearance..

the car is what it is.. let it be that and fix it as you can.. Leave your mother's memory and legacy to things more proper and becoming of what she truly left behind..

Theres a key in the ignition, Contours aren't like chryslers, you can't steal them with a screwdriver. I have never heard of a PATS system being "defeated". Why the column shroud is broken may be another story. (un-educated want-to-be thieves?)
 
You know you guys should not make fun of people who have different things on their cars, there on there for a reason. I mean he has a very nice low mileage car. I mean you all make fun of him for his car so how about I make fun of all of your cars, you all drive fords (big mistake) and you drive the contours. That was the car if it broke you trashed it. I mean there slow anyways,I know of four honda that will smoke yalls cars. Not directed toward the mechanics that are building these cars, because if you can make these pieces of crap run at all your a good mechanic. I'm talking to all you people that trash the way peoples cars look because you don't like it. Well guess what he probably don't like your cars, and frankley I don't like them either, but you can say what you want about me, because I work for Ford and we have three contours outback right now that cost more to fix than the cars worth, (which is not very much). So hears a though for mind build a real car, a real import something that is half way fast when you do a motor swap.

A jdm395zx5032kfc engine swap into your Honda Civic puts you where, at a 15.2 quarter mile? Or are you talking top speed? Exactly wtf are you talking about? Nice, low milage? Who cares about the mileage when the engine and tranny are SHOT!!!!!

And if this car is horrible why did it win nothing but praise and awards?
