I have a 95 tour v-6 and the limiter kicked in at around 112 mph. Is there a chip to override this? If so do you know where i can buy it?

O dang I missed that. I don't think they do. But hey you can just put a switch on the vss wire and at high speed flip the switch. ... or something like that.

I bought my 95 GL as a lease return.
Just less than two years old with 50k on it.
I've had it up to 220 kmph or 135 mph. I've never goofed around with the limiter.
I guess mine has never worked??:shrug:

have you verified how accuare the speddometer is with GPS? I know my 95 hits the limiter when the spedometer reads at least 5 mph lower then where the limiter is set at ...
also might want to check if there is a chip in there
also I believe the only way to tune a 95 is to use a chip

The Superchip 1100 can be programmed to remove the limiter and will fit a 95. You should see around 10 hp from it as well.
