I wouldn't trust anyone but Spec to answer this. I my Mustang application a stage 2+ disc could work with a stage 3 PP but 3+ would not.
And Spec is not garbage based on my experience.

I wouldn't trust anything except to match the clutch disc to the pressure plate. Why skimp, besides price, when such a mistake would be costly in terms of the re-install?

I hear you and agree, but if you have a PP you know is good, its not a problem.
Worked fine for my brother using my PP we knew was fine, less money by just ordering a new disc.
If you have any doubts on the PP I wouldn't risk it unless you enjoy trans R&R :laugh:
