Definitely listen to them first.
I had a set of Kenwood 6x8s up front before I got my Infinities, and a Kenwood deck. Good stuff for the money, I think.

I had replace the 4 door speakers but I put bass blockers on all right from the head unit and i lowered the bass on all of the speakers. You can get a cheap sub (make sure rubber surround) and an amp and it will make all the difference.

I already have a pioneer head unit, Cheap amp, single 10" infinity sub. I think either my speakers are going out or i have a short in my head unit wiring cause i can only hear sound from one or two of the speakers, not including the sub. I'm going to reinstall the factory head unit and see if the speakers work. If not then i know where my problem is
