Anyone know where i can order some decent spark plug wires online?

Everyone around here carries off name brands, and ford wants 170 bucks for a set of Motorcraft ones.

Not Magnecore through, my last set lasted a year.... garbage units they are.

Id like to get autolites or Motorcraft units.

I would order from www.autopartsgiant.com I'm going to order a set of Motorcrafts (WR-5692) for only $63.59. I think any order there over 50 bucks is free ground shipping so that beats a dealer any day and you are getting the same as what came stock on the car. Hope I'm not too late.

P.S. I should mention this is for a 99 model with the regular 2.5

Took me a week to realize that after getting my '00 CSVT (2 weeks ago). Prior owner said it ran fine, but it sat the better part of 2 months. Just ripped those POS's out tonight. Trying out a set from NGK (I get good pricing on NGK and never had any reason to dislike) with a set of Iridium IX plugs. Obviously I only have junk to compare with, but I'm ecstatic with the first 10 minutes of driving!;)

Get the OEM wires from Bill Jenkins, he's good to CEGers, has fair prices and good shipping rates . Few if any of the companies mentioned above will ship by USPS or DHL to Canada - Bill does . Don't even consider ordering from somewhere if they use UPS or Fedex - shipping will be expensive and there will be huge brokerage fees also.

Recently replaced my plug wires with ones from NAPA. They were less than $30. The snapping noise and bucking while accelerating are gone. Have used parts from NAPA for decades with rarely a problem.

Taylor all the way

Taylor 8.2mm Thundervolt wires hands down. Taylor (in my opinion) has the best wires on the market. Plus at the price they offer them through Summit it's the same price as your lifetime Napa/Autolite wires. No brainer to me. I've got a thread about them too.

EDIT: Took a while, but I found the old thread Taylor Thunder Volt 8.2mm wires
