Someone Tried to Break into my Car!

Woke up and went out side to this site, this morning. So pissed, I have huge intolerance to people who dont respect other peoples property, and loved one.

They got into numerous cars in the complex, not into mine luckily but they tried. I walked my one row of spots and almost every car had either the door open or damaged to the vehicle. The one next to mine had most the doors, rear 3/4 window broken out and hood popped.

They ripped off my sail panel, hoping to gain access. My girl friends car was looked into (due to finger prints) she has no tint and alot of Teacher stuff in side. Maybe they were forgiving for that reason.

On the way out there was a work van with the sliding door pried off laying up against the body.

Great Neighborhood. Called the PO PO to come out, they said they wouldnt and to fill a report out online. I did so.


The Ironic thing is that when I got done getting ready for work, I looked in the mirror and said "It's going to be a good day." I never say that, and I dont think i will again.

Just make sure you all are locking your doors at night and keeping item well hidden.
 
Was that white honda accord in the background broken into?!

At least they didnt break your windows and steal anything. I wish I had that anti theft system that blows a fireball out the sides. Good thing its just the sail panels. Youre car is so clean Im surprised they didnt try harder.

Hopefully the cops will do a swing by late at night to catch the idiots.

At least it doesnt look like much dmg at all... and they didnt hurt ur paint as that is coverable by the sail panel...

Just make sure u take care of it with some Rust spray paint so it doesnt start to rust....

Thats a white escort, the thing was beat (body damage before). The window didnt go up all the way. the vandals managed to tear the window down (broken regulator for sure) and get into the trunk. Several cars had there trunks popped as well.

My GF found the sail panel near her car, damaged tabs. I have to run out and get one today. Can't let them win.
 
What the hell :nonono: - I feel sorry for everyone in areas like that. Glad the damage is slim to none....

yeah my sentiments exactly! lol i guess that's how we people from the tri state area think! since it's not as uncommon around here...we tend to think of the bright side of things :blackeye:

To say the least, This only issue we had in a year, surprisingly for this area/city.

We have two sliding doors to the patio, in which my car practically backs up to. On the other side of one is our bedroom. Just so happens the puppy didnt have to go out in the middle of the night (we let her out on the patio).

Might have went "Vanilla Gorilla" on their ass.
 
I hope everything's been reported & they do decide to cruise the lots. Wouldn't surprise me that if they hit a bunch of cars in one night in your lot & then be moving on to another lot next...



At least it wasn't worse & you two are safe...buncha crap
 
Guy I work with actually shot at a guy that was breaking into his daughter's car in thier driveway a few weeks ago. Didn't hit him (says he fired a "warning shot") but scared him off in a hurry.
 
DANG EVAN!!! thats crazy! sorry to see that. werent we just talking about this when we put my brakes on? remember i asked if u parked ur car outside? and u said it wasnt that bad on ur side of town.

Yeah like I stated I had to do a report online. They have to approve it though. I want to get an officer there knocking on doors, so they could get it all done at one time. Apparently, making things easier for them isnt considered.

Anyone remember this?

yea, I meant I hope everyone did their reporting too...outside of living in outer space, I dont' think any neighborhood is exempt from trash
 
I'd have no problem shooting a thief in the knee or stomach. Of course below the waist means a lot less paperwork since it wasnt intent to kill.
