Cleaned up the car real good and took some pics. Couldn't take any creative ones because it's raining on and off today- wanna keep it clean.

The salt did a wild number on the bottom sides of my doors, but thankfully I've kept all the specs at surface level so I just need to clean, fill and polish those spots off. Gotta adjust the hood. Can't argue with the condition it's in considering it is now 12-13 years old.

dude all i gotta say if i were convinced to buy a car that was midnight red, thinking it's a dark red or something and got purple, i'd be pissed. Way to name the color ford. At least they made up for it with the paint code FU, forgot which color it is, i just like the paint code.

Yeah I definitely enjoy the new wheels better. I was offered a deal to get them that I just couldn't refuse. :laugh: The color's midnight red- without clear coat and metallic flake the color is dark maroon, but once the metallic is added and clear coated, you get a multi-colored (somewhat) car.

It shows differently in different light. When clean, waxed and in direct sunlight it is pretty wicked. What ever happened to that pic we took when Kevin and I compared wax products at SZ06? Remember that shine?! :drool:
