I took my car out to a friend's shop (Capaldi Racing) to do some work on the car (trans mounts and some other odds and ends).

Here are some pictures of loading the car on the trailer to drive it out there.

The F-450 is a awesome truck to pull with, it didn't even break a sweat pulling the loaded trailer
 
Wow, very lucky to have a friend with a lift and all.

seems like a bit of overkill just to haul a Contour, but still fun as hell I bet.
 
i was just going to laugh if it was yours because it's a little funny the trailer woudl be worth more than the car you're carrying in it! lol!

yes, i guess it was overkill. why didn't you just drive your car?

Quite possibly, the trans mount was so bad that it wasn't driveable? It happened to me on more than one occassion.

You're right, I probably wouldn't have had a problem, but the shop is 40 miles away so I figured, why risk it since I had access to the trailer.
