So what does everyone think...

This is not entirely correct. There is a lot of negative media bias towards the American OEM's, much of which is based upon the days of extremely poor quality in the 80's and 90's and not true today. Plus, for some reason, there seems to be a lot of reporters and writers jumping on the Toyota bandwagon - raving over great quality while writing off problems as "flukes" and doing the opposite for the Detroit companies. Detroit screwed itself badly in the past but has come a long way in terms of quality and doesn't seem to receive much credit for it.

Some good points here. The bloviating of the media is not based in fact.

The quality gaffes were primarily confined to the 1970s. It's taken a lot to recover from the challenges and missed opportunities of that era.

My apologies Laura, the 1970's were before my time. I must have confused these dates with the extremely-stylish designs of the 80's.

So who's gonna be the first person on here to admit they voted for her? Hopefully the intelligence level in the EGL CEG is higher than that.

I didnt vote . I put off registering to vote so I didnt have to do jury duty... the two were linked up until last year.
