what yr? i hope you didnt have to spend any extra money between the 2......... Nice car either way but definitely doesnt have the rarity of the svt.

i disagree, b/c you guys are just looking at the performance side of things. i enjoy this car much more than my tour, and that in its self is all that really matters.
enjoyment of saying bmw of contour i can see for sure:blackeye: I am in no way jealous of it though cause we still have you beat in one area! We have more doors! seriously though I just want to know what it is about it:confused:

True its not as rare. I tried to fit an M3 into my budget but i couldn't afford it. Stock for stock the E36 M3 ran a 14.0 1/4 mile and my 1998 328is ran a 14.7 1/4 mile. so it's not too far off. Plus i paid the same price for this bimmer as i did for my SVT....oh did i mention heated leather seats and RWD:drool::drool::drool:

Nice. I love my sisters' Z3- something about the roadsters that I like more than the sedans.

well there is no way in hell i'm gonna pay 10 grand for a M3 with 130K miles on it. ain't gonna happen. But i figured with a few basic bolt on mods, i'll be hitting a 14 flat no problem. I mean hell, the SVT had a full motor swap, tranny swap, exhaust, intake, and a SFAC, and the car would only do a 14 flat (with a decent driver). My bimmer isn't maxed out and it already does a 14.7 stock which means it can only get faster from there. and i never used those 2 extra doors on the tour anyways...

The 3 series is like the Honda civic of BMW's, Anyone could get one. No offense to you, but The SVT had more power, style, and probably cheaper to fix. I'm glad you like it though. BTW, waht did you do with your SVT?

Still hasn't said what he paid for it. You feel better cause you bought and expensive high mileage label.
