It's ok... I've raced multiple 600's and it's always the same result, you can hear the bike clearly shifting from 4th to 5th while I am passing too. The rider was a pretty experienced one as well, just last year alone, he's ridden over 30,000 miles on it.

You have to realize on the top end, horsepower plays a huge role and there is clearly a big difference between the bike and the car.
