SilverFrost In Duluth?

I was on my way outta my hometown, when i spotted a silverfrost csvt downtown. Anybody know who this was?

That makes the 3rd one I have seen aroudn there. I saw a black one around the mall during the winter, a green one in superior about 4 months ago...and now this. I didn't realize there was that many around up here. Then there is mine and another black one in Eveleth. So that makes 5.

I believe the guy who owns that car lives in Two Harbors. I have a friend up there who knows him. I can get his name if you want. I am fairly confident he is not on the boards though.

the green one was probably me. i am back in MN now not in MI anymore. actually, i'll be moving to duluth in a few weeks for work.

ive saw the silver one (looked like it was on 18's too) in two harbors when i went through there a couple weeks ago. i was in my Fiero though.

my CSVT goes between the twin cities and Ely ALL THE TIME! my GF lives up there.

hwy 1 is a GODSEND for driving :D

So you go up past silver bay and turn off toward ely? I have yet to take that road. Driven forest hwy 11 a good amount of times. What are you going to be doing in Duluth?

sometimes i do. it adds a little time, but its worth it in either car. the fiero is a like a go-cart. 17's, lowered, poly V6, 5-speed, and the SVT... well, you know how those handle :). if i do take hwy 1 though, i usually take it going home

i usually go up 53 to 169 on my way up to Ely though. its quicker and faster.

I just got a job at the Duluth News Tribune as an Advertising/Marketing Executive. Start mid June!

If you see a Green CSVT or a Maroon 87 Fiero GT passing through, shoot me a wave!

oh yeah, how is living sioux fall treating you?

Very well. I make it to Duluth once in awhile, but most of my friends have either moved here or to the cities, so, there is not a whole lot of reason for me to head up there anymore. Everyone left to find jobs. I am loving Sioux Falls though. It is a GREAT town with tons of growth. I do miss the trees and the water, but you actually get used to the wind and the flat plains. I have never lived in farm country before, so its kinda interesting.

Things still holding together in the northern MN area?

MNstuckinMI, hope you like Duluth!! I used to know the sports editor at the DNT until they cut his position, and he moved to Des Moines. It is a great place if you can find a good job, and it sounds like you have!! Good luck!

Sadly that is whats happening to this city

Unfortunately, yes. It is a beautiful city, but not very smart. It has TONS of college kids, who ALL move away after they graduate. And six years of living there has shown me they are willing to do NOTHING about it. Either way, I am glad to be here now!!

Again sadly its true. Where you at? Most of the people in this area are old or already gone.:blackeye:

I'm in Sioux Falls, SD. I used to live just NE of town up the shore, on the Cant Rd. I moved down here in Oct '06. I was born in Duluth, and left when I was about 5 years old. I returned in the winter of '98, and lived there until I moved here last October.
