My SVT is my current "beater"...it replaced this...

sc2.jpg

Paid my friend $250 for it with blown head gaskets. Spent $200 fixing it, daily drove it for a year or so. 1 of 1256 5-speeds made in 92. With just a 5% OD pulley it'd still turn a 15.0 for a beater.

Before either of those, my current Thunderbird was the only thing I had.

1st car - 88 Mustang LX 5.0 Notchback (5 speed manual). Ran absolutely perfect, loved every second of owning that car. Sold it because of gas mileage and RWD was not practical for a 16 year old.

2nd car - 98 Kia Sephia (automatic). It was my mothers and she bought a new car so I picked up the payments on it, and drove it around for a little while. I beat the living crap out of it......gotta love Kia's 100,000 mile warranty.

3rd car - 93 Honda Civic EX Coupe (5 speed manual). Only owned for about 5 months. I loved every second of owning that car. Ran perfect and fun little car. This was in my ricer phase of life. It was stolen out of the driveway and found 1 week later sitting on blocks, stripped completely.

4th car - 98 SVT Contour. I bought this in 2003 with the insurance money from the Civic + some cash. It had 71k at the time of the purchase and currently has 143k.

2003 - bone stock:

2008 - "slightly" modded:

5th car - 2002 Lexus IS300 (5 speed manual). I bought this in the fall of 2007 with 43k miles. I wanted a comfortable daily driver to keep the mileage off the SVT. It was a very fun car being RWD and having a factory Torsen LSD. It turned heads everywhere I went, but it lacked power and interior space. I sold it this summer for an upgrade.

6th car - 2003 BMW 540i M-Sport (6 speed manual). Replaced the IS300 with this. Purchased with 129k miles. Currently has 137k and runs top notch. Tons of power, handles amazing, and tons of interior space.

Well I'll put up pictures when I find some... but for now...
EDIT: Found some pics

First car (still own)
1985 Chevrolet Camaro Sport Coupe
-bought in 1996 as the lowest Camaro on the todem pole with the only option being a 2.8L multiport fuel injection v6. Since then I've built it up pretty decently.

Second car (sold in 2005)
1994 Ford Taurus SHO ATX
-bought in 1999 as a daily driver started modding it, but the thing was always breaking down and after I got out of college it went bye bye. Couldn't handle fixing it every week.
Not my car, but for all practical purposes this is what it looked like:

Third car (current)
1998 Ford SVT Contour
-bought with blown motor from the original owner down in Morresville, NC and well... you all have seen pics and probably know what I've done to it over the years.

When I saw this thread I started looking for pics of my first car. It was bought for 350 bucks. It had 87k when I bought it and 91k when I sold it. I found out why the price was so low when I drove through a puddle...a basketball size hole from rust:shocked:. The original owner covered it with heavy rubber pads. He painted over the rust with his spray can paint job. It was an awesome first car:laugh:

I spent a couple thousand at Year-one for cosmetics, and paint and motor work. Overall good learning experience.

1971 Olds Cutlass Supreme.
350 V8, 2 barrel carb, original interior, bucket seats.
cut1.jpg

Oh how the original owner DESTROYED the quality of the car with his "mods":blackeye:
cut2.jpg

The door-dings were screwed in and rusted out, he painted the rear bumpers to hide the rust.

Basicly what it looked like

Third Car: 1990 Honda Accord EX. Dad gave it to me after the max died. I miss that car. Paint was perfect. Ran like a dream.Handled great. Never had to worry about it breaking down on me had 169k when i sold it to my friend for $300. Had a full exhaust a K&N drop in and a sweet system. First car i started modding. Sold it to a friend for $300. He treated it like :censored::censored::censored::censored: and junked it cause it need a oil pan gasket!!!!
