Man I really don't have the money to spend on this crap, but the price of the shifter is soooo, good.

Can you send me some pictures of the shift tower with the boot off, and maybe some dimensions of how high the tower is off the floor?

That way I could compare that with a 98. If I understand correctly the riser plate needs to be about 0.02 inches thicker for the 2000's - if that is correct I would just make them all that thick - 10mm instead of 3/8th.

If I order 30 plates I could get them to you guys for $18.31 each including the bolts - plus shipping.

So, if the 23 or so people from the shifter buy need plates I would be willing to order the 30.

I had it all long. I was just waiting for Tousley Ford to get back to me. When I picked up my shifter today after work I asked them about it. Whenever I decide to buy something for my car(s), and I think a lot more people are going to want the same thing I tend to get a group purchase/buy going on it. I've been getting these things together for a while now. Everything from the Corbeau racing seats I have in my Camaro down to the steering wheel cover in my CSVT. I've probably organized... I'd say at least 30+ GB's on various things. Its the only way to do things. You have a lot more leverage with companies with pricing when you say I've got 10+ people that want to buy the same thing in the same configuration then you do with just trying to go in on your own and trying to swing a deal.

Now that I think about it... lets get a group buy on the Ford GT... anyone?? :crazy:

no no no...i was talking about making the riser plates, not buying the shifters
